Chris Reese's Biography
Who is Chris Reese?

Chris Reese is a comedian living in Los Angeles, who is originally
from Washington, D.C. He took his first steps into the world of
comedy performing at the open mics of the Comedy Connection of Laurel,
Md., whose stage saw many legendary names, including that of Steve
Harvey, Martin Lawrence, and Chris Rock. In January of 1999, he
appeared on Showtime At The Apollo, in which he made an impression
on Steve Harvey, the host of the show at the time. In May of 2000,
Chris re-located to L.A., in order to continue to pursue his career
in comedy. Since that time he has performed at numerous comedy clubs
including the Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, the Hollywood Improv,
Mixed Nuts, The Icehouse, and Laugh Is Hope Comedy Club. This un-represented
and un-managed talent seeks to become a unique and powerful voice
in the world of comedy in the years to come.
In addition to being a talent in comedy, Chris has also displayed
obvious talent in filmmaking. He received an award for best undergraduate
film of the year in 1998, from his alma mater, Howard University.
While at Howard, Chris was able to study acting from Al Freeman,
Jr., star of “Malcolm X”, and he hopes this proves useful,
as he seeks to expand his talents into acting. In addition to receiving
his B.A. in film production in 1998, Chris received his M.A. in
management from National University in 2005. He is also a practicing
aikidoist.
